Join the UMBRC

We are excited that you are interested in joining our club, please consider yourself welcome. The club invites both racing and recreational members of all riding abilities. Your participation will certainly strengthen our network of friends, teammates and riding partners.

To get you started, we have included a bunch of information about how and why membership works. Read on and come join us!

Weekly Club Meetings

Wednesday evenings at 7:30 in the Campus Center [more info]

These meetings are where we discuss upcoming events, official business, race weekend plans, that "epic" ride of the past week, bicycles (of course), and whatever else members want to share.

Communication among club members

Our method of choice for communicating is our Yahoo! group, "UMBRC" - we have an email listserve that all UMBRC-group members can send and receive messages over.

Club Clothing

Members can purchase club clothing to show their pride in the UMBRC and have the very best athletic apparel on campus. We have super-fine Italian clothing made by  Giordana for your riding needs and stylish tops for off the bike.

Where do I sign?

Print out a copy of the 2009-2010 Membership Form and bring it with you to your first meeting. Dues for the club are $50 per semester.
