Welcome to UMBRC.com!This is the online home of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Bicycle Racing Club. The UMBRC is a student organized group dedicated to recreational and competitive bicycling. We strive to serve the campus community by creating and sustaining a club of friends and teammates who share a passion for bicycling. 2010 UMBRC Crew to Bring a Hurtin' to ECCC Road Season 2010. It is here. It is ready. Are you?Cold weather can only mean one thing - road racing is around the freezing corner. What better way to celebrate a new year than to ride a little road? Yeah, so the frigid dirty roads of a typical New England spring might not be too pleasent for some, but that is what separated us from the rest. We got the will power to push through some sweet training - provided by our wonderful coach Alec Donahue - which will only lead to buckets full of fun. When the road season finally makes its appearance on March 6th, we will be ready. You can count on it. boom. |
