This is the online home of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Bicycle Racing Club. The UMBRC is a student organized group dedicated to recreational and competitive bicycling. We strive to serve the campus community by creating and sustaining a club of friends and teammates who share a passion for bicycling. Our members range in ability from novice to professional racers and represent all cycling disciplines. New members are encouraged to join!

HUGE SUCCESS!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual XC race. It was killer.

2009-2010 season is out like a thief in the night.

It has been a great year. We have accomplished yet another huge laundry list of things and improved in every way possible. Bikes are great...what more can we say? But wait...am I lying about this improving in every way possible thing?...wait a minute...it's on my tongue...SPORTS CLUB OF THE YEAR *cough cough.* Oh my golly gosheroosky we have done it. Who thought the University cared about bikes?

Thanks to everyone who participated this year...it was a sweet one. Mountain season was bomb-tastic. We held the 2010 Season Opener, the first collegiate mountain bike race of the year. It was wicked. And the road season...we had more roadies race this season than...any year I can remember! Sweet, oh so sweet.
