riding disciplines: Road, XC, Cyclo-cross. I have a single-speed mountain bike now that I haven't ridden on a real ride yet. I am looking forward to rocking that a couple times this summer.

athletic achievements: I showed enormous improvement in the fall over previous years. I went to nationals in Angel Fire, NM and unfortunately ripped my derailleur off during the XC. I was pretty upset because I would have placed pretty well. But on the bright side I have another year at UMass, and Nationals next year are in NC. It will be much cheaper to get ourselves there, and hopefully we can bring a bigger team as well.

goals for next season: Win an A XC race, upgrade to semi-pro, and then not get dropped too bad by Andrew Fry-eeee! Or Justin "the animal" Lindine (yes, I did just make up that nickname as I typed it) for that matter.

And I would like to make it through at least the whole summer XC season on one derailleur. At Nationals I broke off my 4th or 5th derailleur of the year (without even hitting it into anything; I think it was a chainline issue) and sold it on ebay. I have already dented the top tube on the new bike though, so we'll see.

And now that I am figuring out how to use the internet, I want to try and keep this site up to date all the time. Weekly updates maybe?? We'll see.
